Career Showcase Committee

As a Career Showcase Committee member you would representatives of UF and the Career Resource Center who help the Career Events Office throughout all Career Showcase activities. Being a member of the Career Showcase Committee would provide you with a great opportunity to develop new skills and give you the chance to meet and interact with recruiters. Committee members volunteer to help employers and recruiters before, during and shortly after the Career Showcase, as well as interact with students during the event.

Host at Career Showcase

Hosting is a great way to get involved with Career Showcase and to help provide the excellent service UF is known for at its career fair. Through this opportunity you can network with employers, become more familiar with the event, or just be involved with one of the largest career fairs in the Southeast. Whether you are trying to prepare yourself for a future job/internship search or wanting to gain employer contact during your current search, this can be a valuable opportunity.

What do hosts do?
Hosts do a variety of things at Career Showcase, from assisting employers find their table to pointing students in the right direction. Generally, persons wanting to host will work the event for a couple of hours during the two day event. All information about hosting and scheduling times to be a host will be covered during the Host Orientation Sessions.

Work or Intern in the CRC

If you are interested in Student Assistant positions within the CRC, stop by the CRC or call the Customer Service Co-ordinator at 352-392-1601 x 409. We accept applications year-round.

If you are interested in intership positions in Public Relations/Advertising, Human Resources, Employer Relations or other fields please visit us at the CRC, located on the first floor of the Reitz Union.
