CareerLink has the ability to store various documents in the system. The most common document stored in CareerLink is a resume. A resume is vital in our system as it is a key ingredient for signing up for an interview, mock interview, or other event scheduled through CareerLink. Furthermore, having a resume available in the system allows employers to search for you in CareerLink. Employers have the ability to log in and search for their perfect candidate. In addition to resumes, CareerLink can store a variety of other documents, like a cover letter. A cover letter is a great way to introduce yourself to an employer, express your interest in a position, offer the employer insight into your personality through your writing style and impress the employer with your communication skills. For further information on how to use these features please refer to the Gator CareerLink Online Handbook, our comprehensive online instruction manual. |
