- Register with the Co-op Program
Request
an Employer Co-op Packet from the Co-op Office (contact
information below), which includes an Employer Information
Sheet, an Academic Calendar, and the Cooperative Education
Guidelines.
- Determine Your Co-op Needs
Identify the positions and academic disciplines you
require. Obtain additional information on academic
majors through the Co-op Office as needed. At the
end of each semester you will receive an Employer
Information Sheet to list your upcoming needs for
Co-op students.
- Prepare Job Descriptions
The Co-op Program requires job descriptions for each
academic major requested. These are reviewed by Faculty
Co-op Coordinators in appropriate departments to ensure
that the duties are academically and major related.
- Gather Company Literature
We encourage students to review information/literature
to familiarize themselves with companies in preparation
for interviews (i.e. annual reports, recruiting literature,
videotapes, etc.).
- Submit Completed Information to the Co-op Office
- Completed Employer Information Sheet.
- Job description(s) for each Co-op position you
are recruiting for.
- Read and sign the Cooperative Education Guidelines
sheet.
- Company literature/information to be placed
in Co-op company file and the CRC Library.
- Choose Your Recruiting Strategies
Position Listing:
Co-op positions will be automatically listed in the
online Co-op Database for students to view.
On-Campus Interviewing:
- Call to set up a date for the visit (rooms
are limited - apply early).

- Make Campus Connections with Key Populations
- Students: Schedule an Information Session the
evening before your on-campus recruitment visit
to inform students about your company and begin
screening candidates.

Check in periodically with the Co-op Office to ensure
that everything is going well regarding your Co-op
recruitment strategies. Please notify us if UF Co-op
students are selected for positions within your organization.
Costs
There is no fee for listing and interviewing for your
positions.
