The Career Resource Center host several workshop series and independent workshops throughout the academic year to help students advance their career goals. Attend a workshop or request a specific presentation for your organization or student group.

4:05 Career Seminar Series
This college-focused series helps College and Liberal Arts & Science majors understand the marketability of their skills and prepares them for a successful job search. Various disciplines from within the college are targeted each fall and spring.

Employer Information Session
Representatives from various organizations visit UF to host Employer Information Sessions during the on-campus recruiting season through the CRC. Students and alumni can attend these free sessions to learn about career opportunities or the interview process of the presenting organization. Executive Education Series
In support of our mission to advance the career goals of UF students in a global community. The Career Resource Center hosts executives from various organizations to communicate global career issues. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.

Media Communications and Entertainment in Latin America

I’m Hired, Now What? The Essential Know-How for Your First Real Job

We hope you are well on your way to your first job…either internship / cop-op or full-time. Sure you are technically competent, but do you really know all you need to know to start a JOB? DO you know how to fill out your W-4, I-9 and 401K forms? Do you know how to decipher corporate culture or how you are graded at work? Come learn all the basics from Lockheed Martin - Thursday, April 3rd at 4pm in the Career Resource Center (CRC). It will make your first months on the job SO much easier!

Graduate students face unique career planning and job search issues. Each year two workshop series are held to assist Masters and PH.D students through their employment-search process.
