Career Connections
Career Connections is a feature you can use to network with UF alumni and many of our employers. The contacts in Career Connections have volunteered to serve as "connectors.” You can ask them about their career path, major or even request job search advice.
Career Connections is designed to help UF students build meaningful relationships with successful professionals. We are confident that you will benefit from this program by learning from those who have already “been there.”
To use Career Connections, create a Gator CareerLink account. Once registered and logged in, choose the “Career Connections” tab to browse a list of participating alumni and employers.
Look for professionals in your career field. Ask questions such as “What is it like working in your field?” “How did you get this position?” and “How do you like your position?” You will sometimes find majors that do not directly correspond to certain careers. Ask professionals how they made the connection.
