From Gainesville Airport
- Exit the airport via the access road and turn right (west) onto 39th Avenue (SR 222).
- Proceed to the traffic light at Waldo Road (SR 24) and turn left (south) and continue south for about 2.5 miles.
- Turn right (west) at University Avenue (SR 20/24/26) and continue west 2.8 miles – when you see Florida Field stadium on your left, move to the left lane and at Gale Lemerand Drive turn left (south).
- Continue south to the second traffic light and turn left (east) onto Museum Road and take the first left to the Welcome Center Parking Garage.
From Jacksonville/Jacksonville Airport
- From Jax airport, take access road to I-95 south (toward Jax) to junction with I-295 beltway.
- Follow I-295 west around Jax for about 13 miles to its junction with I-10
- Take I-10 west for another 13 miles to the junction of US 301 at Baldwin.
- Follow US 301 south to the town of Waldo (CAUTION: Speed traps at Lawtey, Starke, Hampton and Waldo!)
- At Waldo, bear right onto State Road 24 (Waldo Road) and proceed to Gainesville.
- Turn right (west) at University Avenue (SR 20/24/26) and continue west 2.8 miles – when you see Florida Field stadium on your left, move to the left lane and turn left (south) onto Gale Lemerand Drive.
- Continue south to the second traffic light and turn left (east) onto Museum Road and take the first left to the Welcome Center Parking Garage.
From Tallahassee
- Take I-10 east to its junction with I-75 near Lake City.
- Use Exit 296A south to I-75 south and proceed for approximately 48 miles.
- Take Gainesville Exit 387 (Newberry Road), and turn right (east) at the bottom of the exit ramp.
- Follow Newberry Road east for about 1.3 miles and bear right when it becomes West University Avenue.
- Continue east for approximately 2.5 miles and turn right (south) onto Gale Lemerand Drive
- Continue south to the second traffic light and turn left (east) onto Museum Road and take the first left to the Welcome Center Parking Garage.
From Tampa International Airport
- Exit airport terminal via the access road to the interchange at Spruce Street (State Road 589)
- Take the cloverleaf exit to Spring Street/SR589 EAST (it becomes W. Boy Scout Blvd, then Columbus Drive) for about 2.8 miles and move to left lane as you approach N. Dale Mabry Boulevard (US 92). Follow signs to I-275.
- Turn left (north) on Dale Mabry and proceed for 2 miles to W. Hillsborough Ave.(US 92/SR 600) and turn right (east).
- Proceed east 3.3 miles to I-275 – go under the interstate and turn left onto the entrance ramp toward Ocala-Gainesville.
- I-275 will merge with I-75 north of Tampa – continue northbound on I-75 for another 110 miles.
- Take the SECOND Gainesville exit – Exit 384 (Archer Road) – and turn right (east) at the bottom of the ramp.
- Continue east on Archer Road for 2.5 miles and, at the fork at SW 16 Avenue, bear LEFT.
- Turn left (north) at the next traffic light onto Gale Lemerand Drive and proceed north to the SECOND light.
- Turn right (east) onto Museum Road and take the first left to the Welcome Center Parking Garage.
From Orlando International Airport
- Exit airport terminal via the access road to the interchange at State Road 528 (Beach Line – Toll Road) and take Exit 1B west toward the Florida Turnpike and I-4.
- Proceed west on SR 528 to Exit 4 and take the Florida Turnpike (Toll Road) “North to Ocala,” about 111 miles.
- Follow the Turnpike north to its merge with I-75 at Wildwood and continue north on I-75.
- Take the SECOND Gainesville exit – Exit 384 (Archer Road) – and turn right (east) at the bottom of the ramp.
- Continue east on Archer Road for 2.5 miles and, at the fork at SW 16 Avenue, bear LEFT.
- Turn left (north) at the next traffic light at Gale Lemerand Drive and proceed north to Museum Road.
- Turn right (east) onto Museum Road and take the first left into the Welcome Center Parking Garage.
Parking Information
At Career Showcase:
Parking at the University of Florida can be challenging. The parking garage adjacent to the Stephen C. O’Connell Center is available to recruiters for parking. Since parking is limited we STRONGLY recommend arriving for Career Showcase before 8 a.m.
You do not need a parking pass; simply have a business card available and tell parking staff on hand that you are an employer attending Career Showcase.
The CRC is not responsible for any parking violations that you receive while attending the event; it is your responsibility to verify valid parking areas with posted signs or an appropriate police or parking official.
At Other Career Fairs:
Parking at the University of Florida can be challenging. The parking garage adjacent to the Reitz Union is available to recruiters for parking. Since parking is limited we STRONGLY recommend reserving a parking space prior to the event.
If you reserved parking when registering for the event, you will be emailed your parking pass prior to the event. All day parking is reserved in the parking garage adjacent to the Reitz Union.
If you did not reserve parking for the event, parking is not guaranteed and you will need to pay for parking when you arrive on campus. An all-day parking pass is available for a fee of $5.00 in the parking garage adjacent to the Reitz Union. Please be advised that these parking spots are limited after 8 a.m.
