Job Search Assistance

According to several recent surveys, if you are like 50 percent of the population chances are you would try a new career. We are here to help you with the job search even after graduation. The following services are available to UF alumni up to one calendar year upon graduation.

Career Fairs - Career Fairs are a great way to get your resume circulated to a significant number of employers. All fairs at the University of Florida are open to UF Alumni.

Career Planning-  If you would like to talk to someone about how to most effectively use the library, get your resume critiqued, and get advice about major, internship and job search, come see us. NOTE: Career Planning is available to alumni for one year after their graduation date.

Monday: 1-3:30 p.m.
Tuesday: 9-11:30 a.m.
Wednesday: 1- 3:30 p.m.
Thursday: 1-3:30 p.m..

CRC Library - The Career Resource Library, just to the left as you walk into the Center, contains free literature, GRE, GMAT, and MCAT applications, and over 4,000 books, magazines, binders, files and videos.

Gator CareerLink - Gator CareerLink is a great way for you to view open jobs, get a weekly update on career events, and submit your resume to employers. Through Gator CareerLink you can also sign up for on-campus interviews.

Mock Interviews - Practice your interview skills through Virtual Mock, Face-to-face or Employer Mock Interviews.

Networking - Networking is a two-way street. It is an exchange of ideas that should be treated as an opportunity to ask questions and share experiences.

On-Campus Interviews - Use Gator CareerLink, an online job search database, to schedule on-campus interviews with companies that recruit at University of Florida.

Resume Writing - Your resume is a primary tool in your job search. Learn how to effectively present your qualifications and skills and potentially land yourself an interview.

Workshops - Workshops can help you reach your career goals and discover how to become more marketable.
