Why Freshmen and Sophomores Should Go To Career Showcase
A common stereotype of Career Showcase is that it is only for juniors and seniors who are looking for a job/career. Regardless of whether you are ready to graduate or not, freshmen and sophomores should take advantage of Career Showcase because:
• You can gain some first-hand insight on what employers look for.
• You can network with employers now who may want to hire you when you are ready to start applying for a job.
• You gain confidence speaking with employers, which will help you in future interviews.
• You will know what to expect when you go to Showcase as an upperclassman.
