information is intended to help you ship materials to
and from career events at The University of Florida.
Shipments for an event are only accepted
for roughly 10 days prior to your event -- see the shipping
information on the Career
Showcase page for exact dates. Make sure
you allow enough time for your material to arrive no
later than one 2 days prior to Career Showcase.
Our staff cannot guarantee availability of items that
are shipped the day before the event.

Shipping
FROM Career Showcase |
Pick-up will be available at the event. FedEx and UPS
shipping forms and very limited packaging supplies will
be available. To help with the shipping process, please
follow these simple steps:
- Bring any pre-printed shipping labels you may
have.
- Know your shipping account number for use with
FedEx or UPS forms.
- Stop by the shipping table near the Gate 4 info
desk
- Have the address where you want it shipped
- Know the type of shipment you want -- overnight,
2-day, etc.
- Have your company account number
- Know the number of containers you will be shipping.
(Note: You do not need to haul the containers
with you for this!)
- Barcode labels will be printed for your use.
- We ask you not to use any pre-printed forms
you may have brought with you, since this will cause
delays in moving your shipment due to the huge volume
we will be handling.
- After the event, simply pack up your displays
and boxes, put a label on each package and leave
it on (or in front of) your event table.
- A freight crew will take it to the loading area
for you. We ask you to allow us to do this
to free the use of the freight elevator for our
crew.
SPECIAL CARRIERS
- Most carriers (including those with pre-paid arrangements
for shipping) WILL require you to call them the
day you wish them to pick up your packages. Without
a call, they will not come.
- The event will end at 3:00 pm. When calling, ask
for a pickup time NO EARLIER THAN 4:00 pm. This
will allow you time to pack and allow us time to
get your items to the pickup location for you. If
your items are not readily available at the loading
location at the time the driver arrives, they will
be left.
- At the end of the event if you have already called
for a pickup, simply pack your items and displays,
put them on top or in front of your event table,
attach any paperwork which may be needed by the
carrier, and allow our freight crew to move the
items to the pickup areas for you.

staff cannot guarantee availability of items that are
shipped the day before the event.

Prior to your arrival, you need to arrange post-event
shipment. The Career Resource Center can serve as a
pick-up location for your items, but we are not able
to arrange the shipping for you.
Please Note: All outgoing shipment after the event
must be arranged by you before hand; the CRC does cannot
ship items from an event.
