BRIDGE

BRIDGE, Building Relationships through Internship Development with Gainesville Employers, is a joint venture between the University of Florida’s Career Resource Center and the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce. It was created to equip UF students with practical, real-world experience to ease the transition into long-term employment and  provide assistance to local employers with key projects and daily tasks while being exposed to concepts currently taught in the classroom.

How does BRIDGE benefit your organization?

By providing internships to UF students, your organization is exposed to concepts that are currently taught in the classroom and, receive assistance with key projects and daily work. This will not only help your organization identify strong candidates for future employment, but it will increase your visibility on campus and in the community.
