Promote Your Organization

We appreciate your interest in recruiting University of Florida students. Use this list of activities to increase your campus presence and support the CRC.

  • Attend a Career Fair. We offer several fairs throughout the academic year to help you find internship, co-op, part or full time candidates.
  • Participate in Employer Workshops. Engage potential candidates. Participate in a panel or workshop to share information about your personal career path, opportunities within your organization.
  • Advertise in our Gator Career Planner or Career Showcase Employer Directory. 10,000 copies of the Gator Career Planner are distributed to students each year and the Employer Directory is disbursed to Fall and Spring Showcase attendees. Advertise in a local newspaper: The Gainesville Sun or The Independent Florida Alligator.
  • Coordinate an Employer Information Session with a student organization or serve as a speaker for a student organization group meeting. UF Student Organization contact information is updated each fall.
  • Post internship, co-op, part or full-time jobs through Gator CareerLink (our online job database for UF students and alumni.
  • Become a Gator Career Partner. Your financial contributions enable us to develop and maintain meaningful career planning and preparation services for UF students. Contact our Director to participate.
  • Share your professional experience with a UF student. Serve as a Career Connections mentor. This online program allows UF students and alumni to e-mail questions to employers. You decide the number of contacts you wish to assist.
  • Sponsor a Career Fair. Maximize your organizations campus presence at the largest campus-run career fair in the southeast.
  • Hire an intern to pass out and post literature throughout campus prior to your interviews and/or event.
  • Particpate in programming events
    • Career Exploration Community
      Housed in one of UF’s residence halls, this program assists students in making decisions about their career paths and learning the skills necessary to become to successful professionals. Support this unique community by volunteering as a panelist, presenter, or contact for students’ information interviews. Senior Associate Director for Career Networks, (352)-273-2309.
