The Career Resource Center and the Gainesville Chamber of Commerce formed a joint partnership for the purpose of providing local, career-related internships for UF students. Essentially, through this initiative, we hope to equip students with practical real-world work experiences that will help the student transition into a secure, long-term employment opportunity. The Chamber Initiative provides benefits to students, the organization, and the community at large.
All students who wish to apply for an internship through BRIDGE MUST have attended an Information Session. The Information Sessions will be held in the Career Resource Center on the following days:
- Monday, February 11: 1:55-2:45pm
- Tuesday, February 12: 5:10-6pm
- Wednesday, February 13: 9:35-10:25am
- Thursday, February 14: 3-3:50pm
- Monday, February 18: 4:05-4:55pm
- Tuesday, February 19: 10:40-11:30am
- Wednesday, February 20: 5:10-6pm
- Thursday, February 21: 12:50-1:40pm
All applicants must submit their resumes to the Gator CareerLink system by Friday, March 7, 2008 at 4:30 PM. Employers may begin extending invitations for interviews as early as Monday, March 31, 2008.
