Gator Launch SLS 2301 is a one-credit career development class that focuses on the career concerns of first-generation and minority students to foster academic retention and ultimate career success beyond graduation. The class will meet Monday during fifth period (11:45 a.m.-12:35 p.m.) in the Career Resource Center. The class provides students with a unique experience through:
  • Exploration of personality and interests in the world of work
  • Development of career decision-making strategies
  • Improvement of decision-making skills
  • Learning basic job skills and strategies
  • Explore issues of diversity in the workplace

With Gator Launch you can:

  • Assess and explore your personality, values, skills and interests
  • Bridge the gap between academics and the world of work
  • Learn important career decision-making strategies
  • Develop and practice communication and networking skills
  • Find out how to get experience before you enter the workforce
