CRC Library

Career Resource Center Library provides students with a quiet study atmosphere. Career Ambassadors are available to help students use library resources. Some of the library resources include: free literature, GRE, GMAT and MCAT applications, more than 4,000 books, magazines and videos.

Internet access is available at the library, however, printing is not.

Fall and Spring Semester: 8 a.m. - 4:45 p.m.
Summer Semester: 8 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

The CRC does not guarantee the continued existence of these links, nor can it take responsibility for the content of the sites. Many Web sites that offer "free" employment services will re-sell your resume content in the market place. Exercise caution when providing your social security number or other personal information.

Bureau of Labor Statistics
This site is an invaluable source of critical information, in particular the wide variety of cost-of-living and consumer price indices as well as the Occupational Outlook Handbook. The OOH is a nationally-recognized source of career information, designed to provide valuable assistance to individuals making decisions about their future.

Direct Employer
This site provides job seekers in all industries with invaluable, up-to-date information about employment and career opportunities nationwide. It is an alliance between two nonprofit associations - DirectEmployers Association and National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE), Career Resource Center's professional organization.

Employ Florida Marketplace
Links to sites offering employment listings and career advice that specifically address the needs of Floridians. Use the People First site to explore careers in public service in Florida State Government. This site links to hundreds of sites offering nationwide employment listings and career advice.

FACTS.org
This is Florida's official online student advising system. High school students, college students, parents and even counselors can use the services provided on this Web site to help plan and track progress in education. FACTS.org is provided free by the Florida Department of Education to help students make informed choices about their education.

International Center
University of Florida International Center assists students, faculty and administrators in their pursuit and development of international activities and initiatives.

Job Accommodation Network
JAN assists people with disabilities in the workforce. As a service of the U.S. Department of Labor Office of Disability Employment Policy, JAN also provides answers to specific questions about the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
