Building Relationships through Internship Development of Gainesville Area Employers (B.R.I.D.G.E)
The CRC and Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce have partnered to provide local internships for UF students in all disciplines and classifications. BRIDGE internships are available each semester.

Career Connections
Use this feature to network with UF alumni and many of our employers. The contacts in Career Connections have volunteered to serve as "connectors.” You can ask them about their career path, major or even request job search advice.

Career Courses
Explore job search techniques, develop a job search plan and learn how your skills and interests impact your major and career decisions in our 1-credit career courses: Career Planning or Job Search Strategies.

Career Planning
These sessions will help you explore career options that relate to your interests and abilities, choose a major, start your internship or job search process and learn how to consider graduate or professional school. You don’t need an appointment to stop by the CRC for these one-on-one sessions.

Career Fairs
Attend career fairs to explore career paths and identify potential employers.

Part-Time Job Fair is a casual fair where you can meet representatives from more than 50 UF departments and local businesses.

Career Showcase is a two-day fair hosted each fall and spring. Representatives seek candidates from all majors for internship, co-op or full-time positions.

Graduate and Professional School Information Day allows students pursuing higher education to talk to representatives from more than 100 graduate or professional school programs.

Education Recruitment Day brings representatives from more than 40 public school systems. Students interested in teaching, school counseling or administration should attend.

Summer Job Fair hosts employers from various industries and summer programs in Florida and the northeast. Job seekers may find internship, part time or full-time opportunities.

Co-operative Education
Integrate academics and work experience as an undergraduate while blending practical work experience with your academic pursuits. By alternating semesters of classes and work you can graduate with a degree and multiple semesters of career-related experience.

E-Career Counseling
If you can’t make it into the CRC during regular hours, chat with an E-Career Counselor in the evening and ask questions about choosing a major, changing a major or what career paths are available to you.
