Externships
We encourage first and second year students to explore their career options through externships, a career shadowing experience.
Externships typically last from a few hours to one week. They provide students with the opportunity to observe professionals and learn about possible careers. Students can complete an externship during any time of the year. This is a great way to "test" a career without committing an organization.
Externships also allow students to develop a professional network and clarify educational/career goals. The CRC secured Externship sites in various industries in the Gainesville area to help you make professional connections.

Note:Externships are optional activities. Students receive no academic credit and are responsible for their own transportation and expenses.
