On-Campus Jobs
Working on-campus can provide you with valuable experience and a flexible schedule. Search and apply for positions on campus at www.jobs.ufl.edu. Students are able to work up to 20 hours per week on campus. In some cases students can complete an Hours Extension form to increase the number of hours they can work each week.

Federal Work-Study (FWS)
FWS is a federally funded, need-based student work program (including Federal Community Service) awarded by Financial Aid. Students must apply annually through their FAFSA by the Financial Aid Application Deadline of March 15th.
• FWS students accepting an on-campus job must fill out a work permit found under the Financial Aid tab of your ISIS account. Click on Awards and Disbursements -> display Awards and Disbursements -> Federal Work Study and click on “Print work Permit.”
• If you have questions about your eligibility for Federal Work Study visit Student Financial Affairs in S-107 Criser Hall, Monday – Friday from 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. or call 352-392-0296.
Other Personnel Services (OPS)
OPS workers are not based on financial need and must comply with UF general working guidelines. Students may work a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 hours per week. Also, students are not permitted to work during scheduled classes or exams. Some student jobs for OPS and FWS workers can be found through UF’s www.jobs.ufl.edu . To find these jobs, click on “Search Postings” and then select any of the three “STU-AST” categories under “Classification Title.”
International and Exchange Student
Employment opportunities for foreign students are limited by regulations of the Immigration and Naturalization Service (INS) and United States Information Agency (USIA).Review the Employment link of the International Center web site to clarify your work authorization before you start your employment search.
Off-Campus Jobs
The Career Resource Center offers a number of resources to help you in your part-time job search. Attend Part-Time Job Fair or Summer Job Fair to network with employers and learn about available positions in their organizations. Many local employers post pre-professional jobsin Gator CareerLink.
