By taking our career development courses, you can receive guidance from instructors, while developing individualized action plans and completing assignments to define and reach your goals.
Each course is designed to allow you personal exploration and development. You will be asked to explore your personalities, values and ways in which these impact the career decision-making process.
Teaching styles are highly interactive with required class participation. Students are encouraged to attend with an open mind and positive attitude.
Career Planning
SLS 2301 is a freshman –and sophomore –level course designed to assist you approach career decision-making by exploring their skills and interests.
This class will allow you to identify and evaluate interests, skills, values and lifestyle preferences while relating them to educational and career planning; develop decision-making skills and take an active role in the career-planning process.
