Career Exploration Series
We explore your career options and provide resources to help you search for a career you can be passionate about. Each workshop will help you think differently about the careers and move past simply thinking about "majors."
Grad Student Series:
Outside Academia
This series consists of several workshops to help move you from the academic-focused career, to other areas outside of academia. This series includes a panel of Ph.Ds who are currently working in industry.

Inside Academia
For those interested in working in academia, this series explores your career options and provides resources to help you perfect your career search. We will explore a variety of topics, such as resumes, cover letters and interviews, to help you become a better candidate.
Employment Visas & Immigration
Immigration attorneys discuss information about OPT rules, how that may help you secure a work visa and the variety of options after OPT.
Executive Education Series
The Executive Education series hosts executives from various organizations to communicate global career issues. Students, faculty and staff are welcome to attend.
Local Government Panel
Learn more about your local and state government. With City Commissioners, the County Manager, and others as panelists you will hear about a variety of things that go on behind the scenes. Ask questions about future job opportunities and involvement in the government sector.
Networking Workshops
Have you been told that the best way to "get your foot in the door" is through professional networking but not sure what that really means or how to start? We consistently offer networking panels to help you connect with alumni, companies and contacts from specific industries.
Non-Profit Panel
Want to make a difference and get paid too? Hear from people in different levels of the non-profit field, from interns to directors. We host representatives from a range of positions to speak about their experiences.
Public Service Panel
Interested in helping others? Join public service representatives in discussing different nationwide service organizations such as Peace Corps, Teach for America, City Year, and more. Learn how to get involved after graduation and how to start preparing now.
Women's Group
Considering careers that allow you to balance work and home life? Concerned about how you're going to do everything? Join us for a series of four discussions where we'll share tips and resources.
Pre-Showcase Workshops
Our pre-Showcase workshops include Career Fair Bootcamp, Job Search Employer Panel, Last-Minute Career Planning and employer resume critiquing. These events will help you prepare.
Certified Gator Professional
This workshop series will educate you of all levels on the job & internship search, resume preparation, networking, interviewing and professional development in the workplace. These workshops present an overview of internship/job searching and professionalism in the workplace. Attend these workshops and become a Certified Gator Professionals.
