Why You Should Apply to See Yourself in STEM
Successful applicants will engage in required dynamic programming which will help you:
• Discover your professional skill sets and learn to translate STEM education into STEM employment through three Gator Professional Series workshops
• Learn industry needs through an exposure workshop that focuses on acquiring STEM technical skills
• Engage with employers at an Industry Employer Panel to learn first-hand about STEM opportunities and perspectives
Once all sessions have successfully been completed you will earn a certificate of completion and become eligible to participate for an all-expenses paid employer site visit which will be held in the spring 2018 semester.
The deadline for submitting your application is February 2, 2018. Students will be notified of their acceptance by February 9. Apply now.
*This program has a focus on underrepresented students interested in STEM careers. We define the term underrepresented broadly, to include, economic status, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender identity and any other identities that are not represented in STEM fields.
